The first strip...ooo... shiny!

We're introduced to Johnny 8-Bit and Mercy who are running from some Goblins... will they be found?

At this point and time, Updates are set for once a week on Sundays.

Nice first comic, i especially like those goblins, where did you get the armour for the one with the axe?

It comes from the Troll Warrior Battle Pack from a few years ago. If I'd been thinking about it, I'd have grabbed up at least one more Battle Pack.

I love reading new brick comics!

This one seems like it's off to a very promising start. Is that guy/girl a werewolf? (I'm assuming that's Mercy, as the other character with the glasses looks more like a Johnny 8-bit to me.)

I haven't seen too many science-fantasy brick comics, I'm really interested to see where this comic goes.

You've done a wonderful job of leaving your first time
readers with questions they'll want answered in the next installment, like "Why are they being chased?" I can't wait to find out!

And once a week on Sundays sounds very good, we don't get too many brick comics updating on Sunday. Maybe once you really get into the swing of things, you could start updating twice a week.

Also, it's nice to see another 6-panel comic!

Woo hoo another brick comic I can waste time with! Nice backround. This is a little dim. But everything is focused so no complaints. This will be the 13th brick comic I've subscribed to. I hope to see more.

Waste time? With this comic? I should think not! Time spent reading this comic will most likely be well-spent.

And usually I wait a bit before subscribing to a new brick comic (you know, just in case it turns out to be terrible, or stops updating after only one or two strips.) But it really seems like you've got this all planned out and have thought about it carefully, Silver Fox, so I'll go ahead and subscribe now.

I am working on my lighting. It was commented on by one of my editors and test readers about it being dim.

What happened is when I used my flash, I discovered the glare of flash off the LEGO bricks. So I turned off the flash, had better results. But wasn't paying attention to the fact that behind me, one of my bulbs in the room had gone out. It became obvious to me when shooting for the 2nd strip when a 2nd bulb went out and it's now -too- dark.

I replaced bulbs, resumed shooting and have a good brightness. But I may have delays for the 2nd strip as I need to go and fix one of the photos taken.

One of the side projects for this is not only character bios, but explaining localities within the Border Realms as a bit of a dictionary. So I was planning on explaining dimness as being part of the nature of the Border Realms.

Yeah, avoid flash at all costs! It's absolutely terrible for pictures of LEGO.

I personally thought that the dim lighting was indicative of the "spooky forest" setting, but it's good to hear you're fixing the lighting otherwise.

And I'm looking forward to your Character Bios and dictionary (or perhaps more of an encyclopedia?) I still need to get around to character bios myself... hmm...

Thanks Monkey. I'm either going to be good or alright or fall flat on my face with this comic idea.
