I hope my effects for blood come across as passable. Anyways, on one hand, this week's strip felt really simple, but it was a bit of work to make sure I've changed the positions and poses of everyone to show constant motion from one panel to the next.

And yes, Mercy does smack a downed dragon at the end. Either to make sure it's dead or to say she got a hit in.

holly cow huge sword on carla. :0 i like it though. As far a s the blood goes you cant go wrong with corn syrup and food coloring, its what i use for my fake blood in larp. or maybe some red duct tape in the future? though not sure how that will respond with the light

is that a sonic screwdriver i see ash having? hope so. its good to see the cast grouping with others though i can imagine that has a bit more difficulty

I can consider the corn syrup in the future or something else.

And yes, after Brickcon last year, I got the Cloud Buster sword from Brick Command and knew it had to go to Carla. Yes, Ash has got a sonic screwdriver.

I've planned for others to come in, the hardest part is timing it so I've enough plot coming out, it's not rushed and comes across as natural.

I hear you on changing positions, that's always very important. I can't stand to see comics with static scenes that don't change between panels, it just makes it less believable.

Also, your blood effects are simple, but effective. They work well for the simplified world of Lego.

I love how Mercy charges at the dragon, and just kind of thwacks at it once it's dead. It reminds me of something a faithful dog might do.
